Nicole Byrne is a queer poet based in Portland, Maine. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Wichita State University, where she was the first two-time recipient of the Stephen C. Barr Endowed Fellowship in Creative Writing.
Her work has appeared in Split Lip Magazine, Red Earth Review, Emrys Journal, The Rush, Bright Sleep Magazine, and Spy Kids Review, among others.
She has previously served as the editor for Mikrokosmos/mojo and The Sandy River Review, as well as the digital editor for The Sunflower. She has worked with the Beloit Poetry Journal, Alice James Books, and Dzanc Books.
Currently, she is the editorial assistant for Southern Fried Karma.
